Number of Azerbaijani population announced

The population of Azerbaijan made up 10,143,521 people as of May 1, 2023.

Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee that urban residents account for 54.6% of the population and rural population made up 45.4%.

Meanwhile, men were responsible for 49.8% of the population and the share of women reached 50.2%.
