President of Azerbaijan signs decree on indexation of pensions

President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree "On additional measures in the field of social protection of pensioners."

Report informs that the decree is aimed at strengthening the social protection of pensioners, mitigating the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, the consequences of the impact of processes in international markets on domestic prices, on the social welfare of labor pensioners, as well as increasing state care for specific groups of the population in the post-war period.
