Number of Azerbaijani population revealed

The population of Azerbaijan made 10,127,145 people as January 1 of this year.
Report informs citing the State Statistics Committee that urban residents account for 54.6% of population and rural population made up 45.5%.
Meanwhile, men were responsible for 49.8% of population and the share of women reached 50.2%.
