Azerbaijan and Russia have signed an agreement on cooperation in pension provision as part of the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental State Commission for Economic Cooperation between the two countries.
Report learned in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan that the document was signed by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia, co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission Shahin Mustafayev and Alexei Overchuk.
The agreement regulates relations between the two countries in the field of pensions, outlines mechanisms for recognizing and protecting pension and other rights to the social insurance of citizens of Azerbaijan and Russia in the territory of these states.
