Azerbaijan may ban children from accessing TikTok

Elgun Safarov, a department head at the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs, proposed to ban children from accessing TikTok in Azerbaijan.
According to Report, speaking at a roundtable on "Protecting children in the cyber environment and joint action against digital threats," an action plan should be adopted in Azerbaijan to strengthen children's protection mechanisms related to artificial intelligence:
"France, the UK and other countries have already adopted this plan. At the same time, some countries have banned children from accessing TikTok. We should also take steps in this regard."
