Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Sahil Babayev, has issued a stark warning about the future of employment in the face of advancing artificial intelligence (AI) technology, according to Report.
"In the next decade, as a result of AI's impact on the labor market, 85 million people will lose their jobs," Babayev stated at the opening ceremony of the fourth Yukselish (Ascension) competition. However, he also offered a glimmer of hope, adding, "Instead, 97 million new jobs requiring modern skills will be created."
