340 children repatriated from Iraq, Syria to Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population provides the necessary social support to citizens repatriated from Iraq and Syria, Report informs.

In general, from 2018 to this day, the relevant state structures have repatriated 358 citizens of the country to Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Vugar Behbudov said at a briefing.

He noted that 340 of them are children, 18 are women.

According to Behbudov, the employees of the State Social Protection Fund, the State Employment Administration and the Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation have created mobile groups of three people each to provide support to the repatriated families.
