Broader efforts needed to fight Islamophobia, Cole Durham, president of the G20 Interreligious Dialogue Forum (US) said, Report informs.
He made the statement during his speech at the international conference themed “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024” held in Baku.
Durham has highlighted the urgency of addressing Islamophobia with substantive action.
“Combating religiously motivated animosity is crucial. Beyond mere rhetoric, we must foster an environment of respect for religious convictions and liberties. It’s essential to counteract all forms of disrespectful discourse, free from bias. It is my aspiration that through collaborative efforts, we can broaden the reach of our remedial strategies,” he stated.
