Pope Francis’ condition is stable, with no non-invasive ventilation required, the press service of the Holy See said, Report informs via TASS.

"Today, too, the Holy Father's clinical condition has remained stable. The Pope has not required non-invasive mechanical ventilation, but only supplemental high-flow oxygenation. He does not have a fever," it said. "Given the complexity of the clinical picture, the prognosis remains guarded."

According to the press service, the pontiff participated in Holy Mass, "together with those who have been caring for him during these days of hospitalization" this morning. Apart from that he received in the hospital Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin and his deputy Archbishop Edgar Pena Parra.

The 88-year-old pontiff has been receiving treatment at Rome’s Gemelli hospital since February 14 after being diagnosed with double pneumonia.
