Ilia II: “Georgia and Azerbaijan went through difficult times together”

"Georgia and Azerbaijan went through difficult times together," Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II said in a meeting with Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Report informs.
According to him, both states and peoples could overcome all the difficulties and achieve the common welfare's primary goals.
The Patriarch said that he was glad for the opportunity to meet with Pashazade. He asked Sheikhulislam to convey his greetings to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva.
Ilia II noted with great satisfaction that he has friendly relations with the Azerbaijani President and had met him several times.
