Baku to host int’l symposium on religious education

Baku will host an international symposium themed "Modern religious education models in the context of traditions and global challenges," Report informs.

The event will be jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology (AIT) operating under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations (SCWRO) and the Foundation for Promotion of Moral Values (FPMV).

The symposium is scheduled to be held on October 22-23, 2025.

The purpose of the symposium is to discuss the current situation in religious education in Azerbaijan and worldwide, analyze emerging problems, ensure the advancement of proposals for their solution, and create a platform for research work, information and experience exchange among scientists and specialists working in this field.

Certain topics and theses about religious education are expected to be discussed at the symposium.
