Azerbaijan registers over 970 religious communities

In 2021, the process of state registration of religious communities continued, 16 religious communities were registered, bringing the overall number of the registered communities to 971.

Report informs, Jahandar Alifzada, head of the Department for Work with Religious Organizations under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, said.

Documents of nine religious communities are being currently checked.
