Allahshukur Pashazade tells Pope that protests on Lachin-Khankandi road doesn't impede traffic

The protests of civil society representatives, held against the plundering of Azerbaijan's natural resources and damage to nature, are peaceful and do not impede traffic on the Lachin-Khankandi road, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, said in his letter to Pope Francis, Report informs.

"Having familiarized Your Holiness, who in all matters proceeds from the criteria of justice, with the realities, we ask you to help us in our peaceful righteous cause. Spare no effort and prayers for sustainable peace in our region!" reads the letter.

"Your Holiness, taking this opportunity, on behalf of the Muslims of Azerbaijan and myself, I once again sincerely congratulate you - the leader of world Catholics - on the great holiday - Christmas. I wish you and all your followers all the best, and I wish you long life, good health and further fulfillment of your valuable activity.
