Zelenskyy proposes to continue deliveries through 'grain corridor' without Russia's participation

Everything must be done to continue deliveries of grain through the Black Sea corridor even without Russia's participation, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy told African journalists, Report informs referring to Ukrainian media.

"We had two agreements: Ukraine, Türkiye, the UN; another agreement is Russia, Türkiye, the UN. Therefore, when Russia says that it is stopping, it is breaking its agreements with UN Secretary General Guterres and with President Erdogan. Not with us. We did not have any agreements with them," he said.

Zelenskyy noted that after the statement of the Russian side, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to "prepare official signals to the UN and to Türkiye so that they would answer to the president of Ukraine that they were ready to continue the Ukrainian initiative."

“Even without the Russian Federation, everything must be done so that we can use this Black Sea corridor. We are not afraid. We were approached by companies that own ships. They said they were ready, if Ukraine and Türkiye let them through, then everyone is ready to continue grain supplies," the president added.
