Zelenskyy awards Azerbaijanis fighting in ranks of Ukraine’s army

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has once again awarded a number of servicemen who distinguished themselves in military operations in Ukraine. There are also Azerbaijanis among them, Report’s Eastern Europe bureau informs referring to Ukraine’s presidential office.
According to the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine, Ragif Aliyev and Majid Abdulgafarov were awarded medals of Ukraine “For Courage”. Both Azerbaijanis are sergeants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ragif Aliyev is from the Samukh district of Azerbaijan, Majid Abdulgafarov is from the Guba district.
