On the issues of unblocking logistical routes in the South Caucasus, Russia is striving to find a solution that would satisfy both Azerbaijan and Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing, answering a question from a NEWS.ru correspondent.
According to Report, she noted that Moscow is ready to provide comprehensive assistance in matters of unblocking transport routes.
"We have already said that the entire region will benefit [from unblocking]. I would also like to draw attention to the recent comment on this issue by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, co-chair of the trilateral working group Alexei Overchuk. He emphasized that the unblocking of economic and transport corridors in the South Caucasus is possible only with Russia's participation. Therefore, we are working in this direction," she said.
