Yekaterinburg court extends custody of Azerbaijanis detained in Russia

Verkh-Isetsky District Court in Yekaterinburg extended the detention of several individuals of Azerbaijani origin who were arrested during a large-scale security operation in the city of Yekaterinburg on June 27, Report informs.
The court hearings resulted in a three-month extension of pre-trial detention for the group, until October 19.
The individuals, identified as Mazahir, Ayaz, Akif, Bakir, and Kamal Safarov, along with Ahliman Ganjayev, are facing charges related to alleged criminal activity from past years.
