As part of the second round of the presidential elections in Türkiye, the voting process, which started on May 20, ended at polling stations in a number of foreign countries, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

The voting process is still ongoing in the UK, China, Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and other countries, and will end by May 24.

Turkish citizens in Pakistan voted at polling stations that were formed at the country’s embassy in Islamabad and consulates general in Lahore and Karachi. The ballots will be delivered to Türkiye by plane on May 23 and handed over to the central election commission of the republic. There are a total of 1,232 registered voters in Pakistan.

In Kyrgyzstan, Turkish citizens voted at the country's embassy in Bishkek. Voting ended at 22:00 local time.

Turkish citizens in China voted at the country's embassy in Beijing and consulates general in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong from May 20 to 21. Voting ended at 22:00 local time. There are 4,337 registered voters in China.

Turkish citizens in Iran voted at ballot boxes installed at the Turkish Embassy in Tehran and consulates general in Tabriz and Mashhad on May 20-21. Voting ended at 22:00 local time. There are 1,592 registered Turkish voters in the country.

Voting has also ended in Kuwait, Poland, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Lithuania, Estonia, Nigeria, Algeria and Uzbekistan.

Voting in Azerbaijan started on May 21. Citizens of the fraternal country living and working in Azerbaijan will be able to vote for their candidate until May 22. The sites are open from 08:00 to 22:00. Voters will be able to take part in the voting process in the buildings of the embassy in Baku, consulates general in Ganja and Nakhchivan. The number of Turkish citizens with voting rights residing in Azerbaijan is about 6,600.

In total, as of May 21, the number of Turkish citizens who voted abroad amounted to 1.38 million.
