Five ships of the Russian Federation in the Black Sea have the capacity to launch up to 34 caliber cruise missiles, Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzyanyk said Monday, Report informs, citing Ukrainian media.
According to him, Ukraine is in danger of missile strikes from the Black Sea since missiles can target virtually the entire country.
Motuzyanyk said that Russia rotates its military forces: "It withdraws from some places and enters some areas. All these are tactical games. Therefore, I do not see any major tactical or operational-strategic changes here."
A spokesperson stressed that Russian troops had set up air defense systems in the temporarily occupied Crimea: "In particular, the deployment of two S-300 anti-aircraft missile divisions continues near the settlements of Olenevka and Razdolnoye in the north-western part of the peninsula."
