"Ukraine can use Western weapons," Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, told journalists, Report informs, citing UNIAN.
"Weapons given to Ukraine by the US and its partners cannot be used on the territory of Russia. However, this does not apply to the temporarily occupied Crimea. We have an agreement with the United States that we will not use the weapons provided by them to strike Russian territory. But if we are talking about the liberation of Ukrainian territories, we must say that wherever the enemy is, we can use these weapons," the minister said.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) stated that Western weapons were not used in the explosions in Crimea. However, the EU and the US do not object to this, as they do not consider Crimea to be Russian territory.
