Ukraine captures nearly 30 Russian servicemen 

The total number of Russian servicemen killed, wounded, and captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the past day was 387. The number of captured invaders is 28 people, Valeriy Shershen, a spokesman for Ukrainian military units located across much of the eastern and southern front line, told Report.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the Storozheve village of the Volnovakha district in Donetsk Oblast: “Artillery support was of great importance during the liberation of this settlement. This is essential for successful counter-offensive operations.”

Shershen noted that 7 out of 9 civilians were evacuated from the village of Storozheve.

The spokesperson said that the Russian military units fired 400 times on the front line in the direction of Tavria and nearby settlements: "The Ukrainian army is striking the enemy in the direction of Tavria, destroying its defense capabilities. Thus, the defense forces performed 1,432 fire missions in this direction. As a result, enemy command posts, 1 ammunition warehouse, and 24 military equipment were destroyed."

According to him, although the Russian troops carried out offensive operations in the direction of Avdiivka, they were unsuccessful: "Two enemy attacks were repelled in one night. A total of 16 enemy attacks were repelled in the direction of Mariyevka last night."

Shershen emphasized that as a result of counter-offensive operations, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the settlements of Neskuchne, Storozheve, Blahodatne, Makarivka and Novodarivka in the direction of Tavria.
