Turkmenistan, OSCE mull partnership in holding presidential elections

Deputy prime minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov has met with Charge d'Affaires of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat Rune Kastberg, Report informs.
During the meeting, the current state and prospects of Turkmenistan's partnership with the OSCE were considered.
The main topic of discussion was the issues of preparation for the forthcoming presidential elections in Turkmenistan on March 12 this year.
In this context, the parties considered the forms of cooperation between the Turkmen side and the OSCE, bearing in mind the experience of this Organization in assisting the participating countries in organizing the electoral process.
