Türkiye, Russia mull situation in Syria

Turkish and Russian Foreign Ministers Hakan Fidan and Sergey Lavrov discussed the situation in Syria and regional issues during a phone conversation on January 31, according to Report.

"On January 31, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Regional developments and the situation in Syria were discussed. Both countries' support for Syria's political unity was emphasized. The importance of ensuring an inclusive political transition process in Syria was noted," a source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry told TASS.
