Türkiye records its warmest April in over half a century

Türkiye has recorded the highest average temperature for April in the past 53 years, as stated by the Minister of Ecology and Urban Planning, Mehmet Ozhaseki, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.
According to him, the average temperature for April of this year soared to 16.6°C, which is 4.3°C above the standard norm.
Meanwhile, the Shanliurfa province witnessed the highest average at a staggering 38.9°C.
