Türkiye detains 23 over forest fires

Türkiye has detained 23 individuals in connection with 61 forest fires that occurred in the country between July 4 and 22, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on X, Report informs.
The minister noted that four of those detained were remanded in custody, while 19 were released under police custody.
