Delegations from Türkiye, Russia and Ukraine are planning to discuss the issue of transporting Russian ammonia through Ukrainian ports at their meeting on Friday in Istanbul, Report informs via Russian media.

"The issue of transporting Russian ammonia through Ukrainian ports will be discussed, the UN will propose the appropriate formula. Türkiye, in turn, is making every effort to resolve this issue," he said.

Earlier, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced a meeting of delegations of the three countries on a grain deal which expires on May 18 scheduled for May 5.

The grain deal, which was signed on July 22, 2022 by representatives of Türkiye, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and the UN, involves the export of Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizer across the Black Sea from Ukrainian ports. A joint coordinating center in Istanbul is responsible for coordinating the movement of ships.
