Türkiye does not join sanctions against Russia, Turkish Presidential Spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin told Anadolu, Report informs.
He said that Türkiye supports peace within Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity: “This war is also between Russia and the West. Therefore, there is a need for an agreement between Russia and the West. Otherwise, there will be no ceasefire. I can say that the world is on the verge of a new Cold War.”
Kalin said that the expansion of the war in Ukraine increases the possibility of a nuclear war.
“We continued our efforts. But I think the war will intensify in the coming months. Perhaps, after that, the parties can start negotiations,” Erdogan’s spokesperson said.
