Turkish FM Fidan calls on international community to end conflict in Sudan

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has called on the international community to take steps to end the conflict in Sudan, which has been going on for more than three years.

According to Report, Fidan made the statement at the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul.

Fidan also noted that as a result of joint efforts, Syria is being brought back to life today. The minister expressed his satisfaction with Syria's return to the OIC: "We must continue our support, including the easing of sanctions against Syria. We condemn all calls for discrimination in the region as a whole."
