A public opinion poll conducted among the French people after criticism of the media regarding the inaction of the French government in the issue of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, and their calls to protect Armenia and the Armenians, made it clear that the majority of the population takes the position of non-interference in them and is not even aware of what is happening, Report informs referring to French media.
The survey was conducted by order of the French channel BFM TV.
According to the survey results, 63% of respondents were against French intervention in these issues or were not even informed about it.
This is while 38% of respondents said that they didn’t want France to get involved in this conflict, and 25% of respondents found it difficult to express an opinion on this matter.
But, as it turns out, there is a small group of only 6% who not only want intervention, but even supported the absurd idea of military intervention in Karabakh to “protect the local population.”
There are also those who see the need for economic sanctions against Azerbaijan without military intervention. Some 30% of respondents agreed with this answer option proposed by the survey organization.
Most likely, a significant part of the French people who chose the last two options are representatives of the Armenian community or the so-called French of Armenian origin and people close to them.
