There are no expected changes in Armenia's relations with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan said, Report informs via
"I don't think anything will change regarding the CSTO. What needs to be reviewed in the relations? It's the CSTO that should review and understand whether it even exists or not," Simonyan told journalists on Tuesday.
He also emphasized that there have been no changes in Armenia's relations with Russia.
"There were issues, there were questions that were raised and will continue to be raised. Evaluations that we changed our direction are not true," he said.
In December 2024, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared that Armenia considers itself outside the CSTO, noting that the point of no return for the organization has passed. He stated that Armenia had suspended its participation in the CSTO.
