Simonyan demands compensation for insult to his honor and dignity

Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan has sued Vazgen Sagatelyan, co-author of the podcast Imnemnimi, according to the judicial and legal information portal Datalex, Report informs via Armenian media outlets.

The speaker is demanding compensation for insult to his honor and dignity.

Simonyan's colleague in the faction Arusyak Manavazyan has also sued the co-author of the podcast. He demands that Sagatelyan refute the statements he made and pay 1 million drams (about $2,500) in compensation.
