The Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu inspected the command post of the United Group of Russian Forces in Ukraine within the so-called special operations, Report informs with reference to the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation.
Within a working trip to the Southern Military District, Shoygu "inspected the grouping of troops (forces) in the areas of the special military operation, flew around the areas where troops were deployed and checked the positions of Russian units on the front line," the ministry said.
At the command post of the grouping, the minister heard reports from the commanders on the current situation and actions of the RF Armed Forces. The Ministry of Defense added that Sergey Shoygu paid particular attention to the organization of the group's support, the conditions for deploying personnel in the field, and the work of rear and medical units.
