Member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) should more actively establish ties in many areas, tourism being one of the priorities. This would be facilitated by the creation of an advisory council on tourism of the member countries of the organization.
Such an initiative was made by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, according to Report’s correspondent from Tashkent.
The head of Uzbekistan proposed creating a joint advisory council on tourism of the ECO member countries. He noted that the first meeting of this advisory council could be held in Uzbekistan.
