Two servicemen were killed and six more were wounded as a result of the shelling of the Lutsk military airfield, northwestern Ukraine, Report informs, citing Ukrinform.

"On March 11, four missiles were fired on the military airfield in Lutsk from a Russian army bomber as we assess. Unfortunately, there are human losses. At present, two servicemen have been killed and six have received wounds of varying severity. The rubbles are being cleared away," Head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration Yuriy Pohulyayko said in a video address on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Early in the morning of March 11, several explosions were heard in the city of Lutsk, Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk said on Facebook, Report informs, citing Ukrinform.

"Explosions were heard near the airfield. Everyone go to bomb shelters! Do not publish any photos, addresses and locations!" the mayor wrote.

According to the information, the hostile party committed three airstrikes on Dnipro, killing at least one.

The airstrikes reportedly hit near a kindergarten and a residential building and hit a two-storeyed shoe factory, causing ignition.
