Heads of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Russia mull partnership - UPDATED

The heads of the Russian and Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministries, Alexander Kurenkov and Kamaladdin Heydarov, have discussed bilateral partnership between emergency services, according to the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Report informs via TASS.

During the meeting, Azerbaijan's contribution to the development of the International Civil Defense Organization, the 58th meeting of which is being held in Baku, was noted.

"Joint work in this direction proves the priority of the noble cause of rescue and mutual assistance in international cooperation between emergency services," the press service of the Emergencies Ministry added.

Russian Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov has held talks with Azerbaijani Emergencies Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov in Baku, according to the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Report informs via TASS.

"Russian Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov held a bilateral meeting with Azerbaijani Emergencies Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov. The head of the Russian department expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for organizing the evacuation of Russian citizens from Iran during the recent Iran-Israel conflict," the press service noted.
