Russian billionaires lose $41.48 billion

The richest Russian billionaires have collectively lost $41.48 billion since the start of the year, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
Gennadi Timchencko, the co-owner of Novatek and Sibur companies, has seen his wealth fall most heavily. His wealth has dropped by $7.06 billion to $15.4 billion.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index rating contains 500 richest people, including 25 from Russia. As of June 1, the wealth of these billionaires totalled $341.51 billion.
The second in the rating is Leonid Mikhelson, the co-owner of Novatek, whose fortune was $25.8 billion after remarkably losing $6.65 billion. The third is Vladimir Lisin, the owner of NLMK, who has seen his wealth fall by $4.05 billion to 25.8 billion since the start of the year. The fourth position was taken by Aleksei Mordashov, the co-owner of Severstal. His fortune fell by $5.11 billion to $23.7 billion. Alisher Usmanov, the owner of Metalloinvest and MegaFon companies, sits in the fifth position as his wealth is estimated to be $21 billion after having lost $233 million. Vahid Alekperov, the co-owner of Lukoil, is sixth on the list. His wealth fell $3.27 billion to $18.5 billion. It is noteworthy that Vahid Alekperov resigned from the position as the president of Lukoil. The seventh on the list is Andrei Melnichenko, the primary owner of Evroxim and SUEK. He lost $806 million ($16.7 billion). Victor Vekselberg, the primary owner of Renova, ranked eight with $15.8 billion (lost $2.66 billion). The last of the top ten is is Mikhail Prokhorov, the owner of Onexim. His wealth dropped by $348 million to $13.6 billion.
