Russian armed forces strike Odesa port with ballistic missiles, leaving one dead, several injured

Russian armed forces launched a ballistic missile strike on the port of Odesa, killing one and injuring eight others, Ukrainian officials confirmed.

Report informs that, according to Ukrainian media citing a statement by Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Oleksii Kuleba, the victim was a civilian port worker. Among the eight wounded were also employees of the facility, with four reported to be in critical condition.

"All victims are receiving medical assistance," Kuleba stated on social media.

The missile strike reportedly caused significant damage to port infrastructure, including the engine room, administrative buildings—where windows and doors were shattered—and several vehicles that were destroyed in the blast.
