Russia’s Federal Security Service urges Wagner members to take measures to detain Prigozhin

“We call on the fighters of PMC Wagner not to carry out the criminal orders of Prigozhin and take measures to detain him,” reads the message of the public relations center of Russia’s Federal Security Service, Report informs referring to TASS.

They noted that the statements and actions of the founder of the above-mentioned PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, “are in fact calls for the start of an armed civil conflict on the territory of the Russian Federation and are a stab in the back of the Russian military.”

“The case on the fact of a call to rebellion by Prigozhin was initiated due to the seriousness of the situation and the threat of an escalation of confrontation in the Russian Federation,” reads the statement.

The National Anti-Terrorism Committee of the Russian Federation reported that after Prigozhin’s statements, a criminal case was initiated on incitement to an armed rebellion.
