Russia proposes visa-free regime with some countries

Russia has proposed completely eliminating tourist visas with Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.
Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, pointed out that Russia began to actively develop the topic of “visa-free travel” with the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
“We proposed a complete abolition of visas to Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia. Where an increase in premium class tourists is also possible,” the minister clarified.
