Rosselkhoznadzor: 2 Azerbaijani dairy producers not interested in supplying products to Russia

Azerbaijani companies ALLBUY LLC and MILK PRODUCTS LLC declared their lack of interest in supplying dairy products to Russia, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) said in a statement, Report informs.

"The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan informed that ALLBUY LLC, which manufactures dairy products (butter and cheeses), and MILK PRODUCTS LLC, which is engaged in the production and processing of dairy products (butter) are not interested in further supplies of their goods to Russia," the statement said.

According to the agency, this statement followed after Rosselkhoznadzor sent information to the competent authority of Azerbaijan about its readiness to conduct an inspection of five dairy manufacturing enterprises that continue to send their products to Russian recipients in the near future. The implementation of measures against these companies was intended to control compliance with EAEU legislation and verify previously provided guarantees of their compliance with EAEU and Russian requirements and standards, as well as taking into account the deficiencies identified by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists during inspections in 2024.

Due to the refusal of Azerbaijani enterprises to accept inspections, Rosselkhoznadzor is imposing a ban on the import of all types of dairy products from these two Azerbaijani manufacturers to Russia starting July 11.
