Putin says time for ceasefire not yet come

“During a telephone conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin told me that the time for a ceasefire had not yet come,” Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said when talking about his phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Report informs via RIA Novosti.
“I asked him if the issue of a ceasefire was being considered or when. I said that a truce is necessary, even for a short time. In response, he said that the conditions have not yet matured,” the prime minister noted.
Mario Draghi also spoke about the possible meeting of the Russian President Vladimir Putin with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky:
“I asked the Russian leader about a possible meeting with the President of Ukraine. Putin said it was not yet time.”
