Putin: Russia not seeking mediator role in Iran-Israel conflict

Russia is not aiming to act as a mediator in resolving the conflict between Iran and Israel, but is offering its own ideas, President Vladimir Putin said.
According to Report, citing Russian media, Putin made the remarks during a plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
He noted that Russia's proposals regarding the Iran-Israel conflict are under discussion, and that Moscow remains in near-daily contact with Tehran.
