Putin: Russia does not refuse gas transit through Ukraine

If Ukraine refuses the transit of Russian gas, the volume of gas supply to Europe will decrease and it will be transported in other directions, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum, Report informs via Russian media.
"We do not refuse the transit of gas via Ukraine," Putin said.
According to him, the transit agreement expires on December 31, 2024.
"If Ukraine refuses the transit of Russian gas, we cannot force them," the Russian president said.
