Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have discussed a number of pressing issues on the bilateral agenda in a phone call on Wednesday, the Kremlin press service said in a statement, Report informs, citing TASS.

"The implementation of trilateral agreements signed between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia was discussed. They also stressed the importance of intensifying joint work to ensure regional stability, including the development of transport and logistics infrastructure in the South Caucasus," the statement reads.

Both parties expressed their determination to maintain close interaction in accordance with the principles of strategic partnership and allied relations.

Pashinyan spoke about his contacts with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the European Council Charles Michel on May 22.
