Putin open to talks: Kremlin signals readiness for dialogue with Macron

Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to engage in negotiations with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary for the President of the Russian Federation, said, according to Report which cites Russian media.
Peskov stated, "The President has repeatedly declared his openness to negotiations, especially negotiations for a purpose."
The announcement comes on the heels of Macron's recent statement expressing his own readiness to continue dialogue with Putin, even suggesting the possibility of discussing key issues.
