Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that 43,000 soldiers have died in the ongoing war with Russia so far, Report informs.
At the same time, Zelenskyy said that 370,000 wounded have received medical assistance. According to the president, 50% of the wounded return to service.
"One of the main differences between the Russian army and the Ukrainian Defense Forces is the level of healthcare at the front, which is significantly higher in our army," the president said.
He noted that since September 2024, Russia "loses people against us on the battlefield at a ratio of 5 and even 6 to 1. Now Russia's losses have exceeded 750,000 people: 198,000 dead and more than 550,000 wounded."
