Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has approved the regulations for the work of border delimitation commissions with Azerbaijan, Report informs via Armenian media.
Earlier, the Armenian parliament ratified the document. 67 deputies voted in favor.
Azerbaijan and Armenia signed the provision on joint activities of border delimitation commissions on August 30. The regulations provide for organizing delimitation work and adopting relevant documents, drafting a protocol describing state border crossings, creating delimitation maps of appropriate scale, and the work of expert groups. On September 26, the Constitutional Court issued a decision regarding the regulations for the work of Armenian and Azerbaijani delimitation commissions.
