Poll reveals plummeting support for Pashinyan's party in Armenia

A mere 11.3% of Armenian citizens would cast their vote for the ruling Civil Contract party if parliamentary elections were held this coming Sunday, according to a recent survey conducted by Gallup International Association.

Report informs via Armenian media that the poll, which surveyed 1,100 citizens between January 20-22, has laid bare the staggering decline in support for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's party. Aram Navasardyan, head of the Gallup International Association's representative office, emphasized that this marks the party's lowest rating since 2018.

Trailing closely behind Pashinyan's party is the DOK party, founded by video blogger Vardan Gukasyan, also known as Dog. Some 6.8% of respondents expressed their readiness to vote for DOK. The top three is rounded out by former President Robert Kocharian's Hayastan bloc, which garnered 6.5% of the hypothetical vote.
