The Standing Committee of the Armenian Parliament on Foreign Relations in the second reading has approved the project, which provides the prime minister with the opportunity to appoint, if necessary, military and trade attaches who will act at embassies, Report informs referring to Novosti-Armenia.
According to the changes, attaches may have deputies and assistants.
Initially, the draft assumed that legislative changes would come into force 10 days after signing, but changes were made according to which the draft comes into force immediately after signing.
In addition, the personnel reserve will include persons who won competitions for available vacancies, but were never appointed to positions.
