Plans to increase natural gas production in Balkan region of Turkmenistan revealed

By 2025, natural gas production in the Balkan region, which is key for the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, is planned to be increased to 11 billion cubic meters per year, Head of the Economic Risk Analysis Department of the Economic Risk Protection Agency under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Hangeldi Gurbangeldiyev said, Report informs.

Such plans have been put before the country's fuel and energy complex in the long-term programs of the country's socio-economic development, Gurbangeldiyev said.

Simultaneously with the increase in natural gas production, it is planned to increase the production of gas condensate in the Balkan region to 10.5 million tons.

Also, by 2025, the region plans to increase the production of motor gasoline by 29%, diesel fuel by 20.4%, and lubricating oils by three times.

The increase in extraction and production should be achieved through the introduction of advanced technologies.
